The PS 34 Elementary School (131 Norman Ave.) parent-teacher association is currently holding a holiday auction to help raise funds following budget cuts.
PS 34 PTA organized an online auction that runs through December 12th at 9 pm, featuring generous donations from a variety of local businesses. By participating in the auction you will be supporting local businesses during one of PS 34 PTA’s largest fundraisers of the year with the goal of funding at least 25% of their yearly expenses.
“Because of budget cuts in state funding for public schools, our organization’s goal is to raise the funds necessary to provide our students with enrichments to their core education including Lego robotics, music, art, theater, wellness and STEM,” PS 34 PTA member Darci Sheena wrote to Greenpointers.
